We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Personal information will only be used for order processing, communication, delivery of your order (couriers) and lawful business purposes.
Cinnamon and Spice reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with the conditions set out in Sections 9.1 and 9.2, subject to the Consumer Protection Act.
Returns may be declined under the following circumstances:
Items returned without original packaging, tags, labels, or protective wrapping may be refused where the return is based on change of mind.
This does not apply where goods are defective.
Items that show signs of use, wear, washing, alteration, or damage beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess the goods may not qualify for return where the return is not defect-related.
Returned goods must be in an unused and resalable condition unless returned due to defect.
Items that have been personalised, custom-sized, custom-designed, or manufactured to the customer’s specifications are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless:
The item is defective; or
The item materially differs from the approved specifications.
This exclusion is permitted under Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act.
Returns may be refused where items are missing parts, accessories, hardware, or components originally supplied, unless the return relates to a defect.
Returns must be initiated within:
14 days of receipt for non-customised items (change-of-mind returns);
7 days of receipt for damaged-on-delivery notifications;
Defective goods remain subject to the remedies provided under Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act.
Returns submitted without proof of purchase, order number, photographs (where required), or sufficient supporting information may be delayed or declined until complete documentation is provided.
Customers demonstrating a pattern of excessive change-of-mind returns may have future return privileges limited, provided this does not affect statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Items marked as “sale,” “clearance,” or part of promotional bundles are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights in respect of defective goods.
For hygiene reasons, items such as bedding or products that come into direct contact with skin may not be returned once opened, unless defective.
Returns that do not follow the prescribed return procedure — including prior written notification and receipt of a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) — may be declined.

Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
